We are Rata Mithuro, an online platform for you to book, selected and insured Home Care and Support Workers who are passionate and willing to support our parents living on their own back home.
We are a caring, passionate company working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of our own parents living in Sri Lanka by catering to their support needs at their doorsteps or out at the community. Be it home care, garden care, grocery shopping, cooking support, social support, attending medical appointments, personal admin, transportation, we make sure to provide you with the best!
Why choose Rata Mithuro?

More awareness on what makes a good support worker.
Rata Mithuro Support Services believe “what makes a good support worker is the intention behind what they do, it’s about the heart of wanting to care for another person”.
Rata Mithuro Support Services aware that this is not just a job, it is about look after our most vulnerable people in Sri Lanka and it requires the heart of wanting to help others, and wanting to help them to live independent, happy, enriched lives.
When you come across a good support worker who has the heart to care for others, you don’t face problems such as lack of quality and trustworthiness. Instead, you have higher trust levels, and there is more understanding because the support worker is motivated to see the satisfaction of the support receiver.
Adopting a tailored and inclusive community approach.
Rata Mithuro understands that our support receivers and support workers are not just a work shift or a number in the system to make money from.
We believe that the delivery of support work should adopt a community approach that is tailored and inclusive of both the support worker(s) and support receiver(s) allowing them both to see the potential to create change, improving quality in each other’s lives.
